![]() Designing controls was the most difficult thing for us. What was the most difficult element while developing World of Tanks Blitz? How is that different from World of Tanks PC? We recently spoke with Dmitry Yudo about what it took to bring World of Tanks Blitz to Android, and now we’re looking at how the team extracted the raw elements that makes World of Tanks such a hit and crafted them into a standalone game on a mobile and tablet platform. However, it is suprising how many noobs still aren't aware of sniper positions, and they get killed by smart “ghost” fairly easily and often.Since its release in June of 2013, World of Tanks Blitz has been taking the mobile world by storm, and with its recent release on the Android platform complete with cross-platform play, we wanted to figure out what it was exactly that makes World of Tanks Blitz a unique mobile and tablet experience. I agree that many players dont know how to snipe effectively, and they can ruin a game by not helping enough.Ī good sniper must read the flow of the game and be preapred to brawl if the action is out of sight. A sole surviving sniper becomes an obvious target for red tanks and red thumbs. One or two successful sniping shots are not likely to make a big difference to the outcome and you may have to wait half a battle to get those few shots - better use those 3.5 minutes actively contributing to the team before its too late. ![]() The maps are static and players learn where sniping spots are with experience and how to counter them.īlitz battles are meant to be quick - most games dont go past 4 minutes. Sniping needs the right situation to be effective and those situations rarely arise and the advantage is lost once the reds figure out a sniping spot is occupied.
